To Install BizTalk Server, we need to download the trial version from Microsoft website. Before you continue to install the downloaded trial version, please review the BizTalk Server 2010 system requirements before you proceed.
Note: All my recipes to study BizTalk Server 2010 need only one PC with BizTalk Server 2010. The following table indicates the dependencies that you must install or update before installing BizTalk Server 2010 based on the BizTalk Server features you plan to install.

Now let's see how to install BizTalk Server 2010.
Installing BizTalk Server 2010
To install you need to use administrator account in
BizTalk Server box.
Note: You
have to say “Yes” to run the setup under administrative account (only if
Windows shows the below dialog box).
a. Select
option “Install Microsoft BizTalk Server
2010” and specify User name & Organization then click “Next” button.
b. Agree
the terms of the license agreement then click “Next” button
d. Choose
all the required components from the list
Note: If you plan to
have SSO on different box, then don’t select it from the “Additional Software”.
e. If your computer is missing a prerequisite component such as ADOMD.NET, Setup can install the redistributable prerequisites. You can either:
- Option 1: “Manually install the redistributable prerequisites” – to install file manually but before start the BizTalk Server 2010.
- Option 2 (recommended): “Automatically install the redistributable prerequisites from the web” – This option will download the prerequisites CAB file from web and installs.
- Option 3: “Download the redistributable prerequisites CAB file” – Just to download the CAB file from web.
- Option 4: “Automatically install the redistributable prerequisites from a CAB file” – install the prerequisites from the location which has specified in “Pre-downloaded CAB file:”
f. On
the Summary screen, verify that the components that you have selected to
install are correct. If not, you can click on “Back” button and change
the selection.
g. To enable auto-logon after a system reboot, click “Set” and provide your logon credential information. Auto-logon is enabled only for reboots during setup, and is disabled when setup is complete
h. Click on the "Install" button to start the BizTalk Server 2010 Installation.
i. On the Microsoft Update Setup page, click Use the Microsoft update when I check for updates (recommended).
j. On the Installation Completed screen, clear the Launch BizTalk Server Configuration check box (if you have planned to configure later, otherwise leave as selected to configure immediately after the installation), and then click “Finish”.
Note: we can configure/reconfigure/unconfigure features of BizTalk Server 2010 anytime.
